Ovenlight was founded in the winter of 2003 by Adam Friedman. As the story goes, Adam was sitting in his D.U.M.B.O Brooklyn apartment with all but the oven-light turned off. The name was born. We like to think ovenlight is a metaphor. Just as an actual oven light permits the chef to see the rising Souflee's progress without the fear of it dropping; so too does our company invite you to participate in the creative process without the fear of "dropping" or "deflating". |
